Beautiful surroundings, very quiet and peaceful. The bedroom was well appointed and very comfortable. We arrived quite late and did not want to have a gourmet dinner so the bar menu suited us just fine. It is located too far to go anywhere else...

Absolutely everything. It was the perfect weekend break and we wished we could have stayed longer. We loved the food in both restaurants and also the ambience of the hotel. We were thoroughly looked after and our room was beautiful. This hotel is first class and one we would definitely go back to again and again.

The Hotel is very beautiful, dating back 500 years but refurbished to a very high standard. The ambiance is extremely relaxing which is what we wanted. The staff were very pleasant, polite and friendly. Our room was lovely, with every comfort and need catered for. We look forward very much to returning.

I have stayed here before and would like to stay here again on my next trip. The restaurant offers a good menu that is more bistro-style than fine dining.

The facility, a manor house expanded to approximately 60 rooms, is on a magnificent property in the Cotswalds, and has been completely updated with great taste and respect for the original manor house. It has the feel of a small luxury boutique hotel/inn with outstanding service, friendliness, facilities, comfort, dining etc. I was surprised that I had not found it amongst those offered by Relais and Chateaux or Small Luxury Hotels of the World. The facility is to be highly recommended
